CCL 2025: Celebrity Cricket League Points Table, Schedule & Match Results

CCL 2025 is one of the prominent celebrity-based cricket tournaments that is watched and liked all around India. In the Celebrity Cricket League (CCL), all of the major celebrities of the Indian film fraternity participate.

The 2025 season of CCL is the 11th edition of the tournament. With love and support from the fans, the tournament has grown from strength to strength. 

CCL Format and Tournament Details

CCL is the celebrity cricket league organized in India. Film actors from different states of India are distributed into different teams, and fight for the title.

Started in 2011, the tournament was initially a 20-over-a-side game, but since 2017, the rules have changed. The tournament is now a 10 over per innings format. The most successful team of the tournament is the Telugu Warriors, with 4 title wins. 

CCL Teams Information

For CCL 2025, there have been 8 teams who have been part of the tournament. These teams represent different states of India. The team list includes:

Telugu Warriors

The first and the most successful team in CCL history is Telugu Warriors. For the 2025 season, they are led by Akkineni Akhil. 

Telugu Warriors represent Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, India. This team is currently owned by Venkatesh Daggubati and Sachin Joshi.

Mumbai Heroes

Known for the Hindi language film industry, Mumbai Heroes consist of some of the biggest names in the film industry. 

Owned by Sohail Khan, the captain of Mumbai Heroes is Reteish Deshmukh. This particular franchise is based in Maharashtra, India. 

Bengal Tigers

Coming from West Bengal and representing the Bengali and Tollywood film industry, Bengal Tigers have been an underrated team for a long time. 

They are owned by Boney Kapoor and Raj Shah. Currently, Jisshu Sengupta is the captain of the Bengal Tigers. 

Bhojpuri Dabbangs

Representing UP, Jharkhand, and Bihar, Bhojpuri Dabbangs is one of the entertaining teams of CCL 2025. This team was formed in 2013.

Currently, the leader of the side is Manoj Tiwari, while the ownership is divided among different people. The owners’ list includes Sushil Sharma, Kanishk Sheel, Rahul Mishra, and Sushil Malik.

Chhenai Rhinos

Among the South Indian industries of acting and movies, Chhenai Rhinos are all about representing Kollywood. Even though fans are unaware about this team, they have done well. 

Led by Arya as the captain, the team is owned by K Ganga Prasad, who represents the Tamil film industry. 

Punjab De Sher

The fighters from Punjab make it into the Punjab De Sher team. Led majorly by Sonu Sood, the team has celebrities from the Punjabi film industry.

Interestingly, they are the winner of the 2025 season with brilliant play. Having made their debut in 2016, Punjab De Sher won the title after 11 years. This successful team is owned by Navraj Hans and Puneet Singh. 

Karnataka Bulldozers

Representing the Kannada film industry, also known as Sandalwood, the Karnataka Bulldozers are a prominent team in the Celebrity Cricket League (CCL). 

Established in 2011, the team is owned by Ashok Kheny and has been captained by renowned actor Kiccha Sudeep. Known for their aggressive style of play, the Bulldozers have cultivated a dedicated fan base across the country .

Kerala Strikers

The last team for CCL is the Kerala Strikers. This team, particularly from Kerala or the Malayalam film industry, is led by Indrajith Sukumaran. 

Meanwhile, the team’s owners are plenty. Mohanlal and Rajkumar. Sripriya, Shaji, Jaison, Muibu Jose Nettikaden are the owners of the team. Sadly, they weren’t a part of the 2025 edition.
