His 264 against Sri Lanka at Eden Gardens on November 13, 2014 remains the highest individual ODI score ever. He faced 173 balls, hit 33 fours and 9 sixes, and finished with a strike rate of 152.6. India posted 404 for 5 and won by 153 runs.

4. Sachin Tendulkar (India) – 5 Scores of 150+
Sachin Tendulkar made five scores of 150 or more across 463 ODI innings spanning 1989 to 2012. His 200 not out against South Africa at Captain Roop Singh Stadium in Gwalior on February 24, 2010 was the first double century in men’s ODI cricket history.
Tendulkar was 36 years old when he made that 200. He faced 147 balls, hit 25 fours and 3 sixes, and reached the milestone off the last ball he faced. India posted 401 for 3 and won by 153 runs. The innings came 21 years into his international career.

New Zealand were chasing 394 in a World Cup quarter-final. Guptill faced 163 balls, hit 24 fours and 11 sixes. New Zealand reached the target with 1 ball remaining. Guptill batted through the entire innings.
