20 days before the start of the much anticipated Champions Trophy, ICC CEO Geoff Allardice steps down from his role. The exact reason for his resignation isn’t known, but some news sources have claimed it to be the lack of preparedness for the Champions Trophy.
The cricketing fraternity has been talking about how poorly Pakistan is preparing for the mega event. Even though the tournament starts on 19th February, hardly any preparations are seen being done for the event.
