Top 10 Most Fifties in T20 World Cup History (2007–2026 Updated List)

The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup is all about explosive batting, and it only takes a few balls to change the course of any match. In a format where every ball counts, scoring 50+ runs consistently is nothing short of a miracle. It shows that a player of this caliber has control, adaptiveness, and the ability to make-or-break an outcome. Many great players have shared the global stage of the T20 World Cup since 2007, and many have scored fifties and beyond. But only a few are known to have done it consistently over the years.

List of Players with Most Fifties in ICC T20 World Cup History

This updated list includes the top 10 most fifties in T20 World Cup history:

Why Fifties Matter in the T20 World Cup

In a format where a team gets to face a total of 120 balls throughout the inning, scoring 50+ runs is a big achievement for any player who does that. In the T20 format, players don’t get much time to set the momentum and settle to the pitch conditions. They have to be aggressive from the very first ball. The fastest fifty in T20 World Cup history belongs to Yuvraj Singh of India, who made 58 runs off 16 balls in a match against England in Durban, 2007.

This stunning record came after Singh’s six consecutive sixes in a single over while facing England’s Stuart Broad. He only took 12 balls to make 50+ scores in that match.
