India Reclaims Top Spot in ICC T20I Rankings
England held the top spot before this series. The English side had whitewashed a four-match series against India at home. But the consistent performance of the Indian team in Harare put them in front of England once again. The current T20 World Cup champions proved their depth without several regular senior players.

Vaibhav Sooryavanshi Records Historical Performance
Vaibhav Sooryavanshi played a record-breaking performance. The 15-year-old left-hander hit eight fours and four sixes during his match-winning 81 in the final game.
Earlier in the series, Sooryavanshi made history by becoming the youngest player to score a half-century in men’s T20Is. He reached that milestone in the first match at just 15 years and 118 days old. During that game, he smashed a fifty from only 18 balls.
His performance also broke the previous record held by Louis Bruce of Gibraltar. His consistent scoring earned him both Player of the Match and Player of the Series.

India won the toss and chose to bat first. India scored 64 runs and lost one wicket during the Powerplay overs. Although the pitch slowed down later in the innings, they eventually posted a competitive total of 192 runs by losing 5 wickets. Ishan Kishan made 29 runs, while the captain added 27 to the total tally. Rinku Singh finished the innings with a quick 25 runs from 14 balls.
Zimbabwe struggled to maintain the required run rate during their chase. Mayank Yadav immediately took a wicket with his very first ball. He took 3 wickets by giving 29 runs.
