India Women beat Sri Lanka Women by 147 runs in the Asian Games final at Korogi Sports Park, Nisshin, on September 22, 2026. The win gives India back-to-back gold medals in the event, following their 2023 triumph.
India posted 216 for 3 after being put in to bat, then bowled out Sri Lanka for 69 in 15.4 overs. All ten Sri Lankan wickets fell to spin. The result also avenged Sri Lanka’s win over India in the Asia Cup final ten days earlier, though this time India completed the job comfortably.
