The Board of Control for Cricket (BCCI) in India announced that the India Senior Women’s team will play Zimbabwe Women for a bilateral series in October 2026. This historic occasion will be the first time these two countries will be playing against each other in an international cricket match. The tour will be played in a white-ball format, which includes three T20 Internationals and three One-Day Internationals.
Cricket fans in Raipur will host the T20I leg of the tour, while the ODI matches will take place in Baroda. Zimbabwe makes its first-ever visit to India for a bilateral contest. Likewise, India has never travelled to Zimbabwe for similar games in the past.

The tour begins in mid-October with the shortest format of the game. Raipur will host all three T20I matches under the lights. Subsequently, the teams will travel to Baroda to compete in the three-match ODI series.
