Lucknow Super Giants beat Kolkata Knight Riders by three wickets in a last-over thriller to push themselves into the top half. KKR, on the other hand, are now staring at a season in crisis.
Here is where every team stands as of April 10, 2026.

Rajasthan Royals Stay Perfect at the Top
The leading team, Rajasthan Royals, is the only team without a single loss so far. They are standing tall with three matches, three victories, 6 points, and an NRR of +2.403.
Riyan Parag’s side defeated CSK, GT, and MI in their first three outings. Their run includes a rain-reduced 27-run win over the Mumbai Indians in Guwahati on April 7.
RR next face RCB in the evening of April 10, in what is the standout clash of this week.
Punjab Kings and RCB Look Solid in Top Three
Punjab Kings are second with 5 points. Their only match where they did not win was the washout against KKR at Eden Gardens on April 6, which gave both sides one point. Shreyas Iyer’s team has beaten both CSK and GT decisively so far.
RCB are third with 4 points from just 2 matches and the highest NRR among the top five at +2.501. The statement win of the season to date was the 43-run trouncing of RCB over CSK on April 5, when the team recorded 250/3.
LSG’s Last-Ball Chase Shakes Up the Middle Table
Lucknow Super Giants chased down 182 off KKR at Eden Gardens on the final ball of the match. Ayush Badoni and Mukul Choudhary held the innings together after a middle-order collapse.
The result pushed LSG to 5th place with 4 points from 3 games, level with DC on points but behind on NRR.
KKR Alarm Bells Are Ringing
Kolkata Knight Riders have played four matches and have not won a single one. Their only point came from the washed-out Punjab Kings game. Three losses, an NRR of -1.315, and a squad that includes Cameron Green, Rovman Powell, and Sunil Narine. The numbers do not add up.
KKR posted 181/4 against LSG but could not defend it. Time is running out for Ajinkya Rahane’s side.
CSK Still Searching for First Win
Chennai Super Kings are at the bottom of the table with 0 points from 3 games. Ruturaj Gaikwad’s team has now lost to RR, PBKS, and RCB.
Their NRR of -2.517 is the worst in the tournament. CSK next face DC on April 8 in Delhi and cannot afford another loss if they want to stay in playoff conversations.
What the Top Four Looks Like Right Now

With 11 more matches to go before the league stage ends on May 24, the top four is far from decided. RR, PBKS, RCB, and DC currently occupy those spots. But LSG, SRH, and even GT at 7th are only two wins away from re-entering that conversation. The race will heat up considerably through April.
