The Bangladesh opener Shadman Islam will miss the second Test against Pakistan starting on May 16. The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) confirmed that a chest injury has ruled him out of the series-deciding match in Sylhet.
Consequently, the team officials have called up left-handed batter Zakir Hasan to join the squad as his replacement. This change comes as Bangladesh leads the two-match series 1-0 following a historic victory in Mirpur.
