Temba Bavuma’s injury seems serious as he is set to miss the Zimbabwe series. Bavuma was injured when he was batting in the 2nd innings when he was chasing a massive total for the WTC Finals 2025.
Bavuma had a left hamstring injury that he sustained while batting. Although he batted with strapping in the 2nd innings, he seems to need rest.

By the look of things, Temba Bavuma’s injury seems to be critical. Therefore, he is all set to rest in the test series against Zimbabwe. As we know that Zimbabwe isn’t the strongest competition, so they didn’t want to risk the injury span of Bavuma.
Cricket South Africa has made it clear that Bavuma will have to go through different scans to determine the extent of the injury. South Africa isn’t rushing the process but taking their time.
