Sunday’s Results and What They Mean
KKR’s win over SRH was built on Angkrish Raghuvanshi‘s half-century after Travis Head top-scored for SRH with a 28-ball 61. SRH were bowled out for 165 in 19 overs, and KKR chased it down with seven wickets to spare, lifting themselves off the bottom of the points table.
In the second game, PBKS posted 163/9 with debutant Suryansh Shedge scoring 57. Jason Holder took 4/24 for GT. Shubman Gill fell cheaply for 5, but Sai Sudharsan and Washington Sundar guided GT home with a four-wicket win.
Both the Orange Cap and Purple Cap races remain open with several matches still to be played. Rahul, Sooryavanshi, and Klaasen are all within reach of Abhishek at the top of the batting chart. In the bowling standings, the gap between Bhuvneshwar, Kamboj, and Rabada is just one wicket, making it one of the tighter Purple Cap contests in recent IPL seasons.
