Initially, the West Indies reached 63 runs without losing a wicket. However, Lennox first bowled captain Shai Hope for just seven runs. Shortly after, he dismissed Sherfane Rutherford to put the home side under intense pressure.
Lennox continued his dominance by bowling Gudakesh Motie and Matthew Forde. He eventually completed his five-wicket haul by trapping Vitel Lawes leg-before-wicket to end the innings. After the match, Lennox received the Player of the Match award for his match-winning contribution.
West Indies Suffer Massive Batting Collapse
New Zealand won the toss and chose to bowl first. The West Indies opening batters John Campbell and Akeem Auguste built a 63-run partnership. Campbell scored 43 runs, and Auguste scored 18 runs before they started losing wickets.
The game changed when Michael Bracewell dismissed Auguste. Mitchell Santner then bowled Campbell with an arm ball. Following these exits, the West Indies lost all 10 of their wickets for only 65 runs. New Zealand took nine of the ten wickets. Six West Indies batters were bowled, while two others fell to LBW decisions.
Amir Jangoo scored 24 runs and showed better application than his teammates before Bracewell trapped him LBW. The West Indies lost their final five wickets for just 10 runs in 10 overs.

New Zealand Clinches Historic 400th ODI Victory
It was New Zealand’s 400th win in ODI cricket. The Black Caps reached the target with 104 balls to spare. Will Young scored 28 runs from 31 balls, including five boundaries. He shared a 35-run opening partnership with Henry Nicholls before Alzarri Joseph trapped him LBW. Shortly after, Chapman was run out for a duck on just his second ball.
Nicholls scored 17 runs before top-edging a sweep shot off Gudakesh Motie. Daryl Mitchell then joined captain Tom Latham to make a 42-run partnership. Mitchell scored 28 runs, but he was eventually stumped after charging at a delivery from Khary Pierre. When Pierre bowled Dean Foxcroft for a duck shortly after, New Zealand were 96 for 5 and feeling the pressure.

Latham and Bracewell Guide the Final Chase
After losing 5 early wickets, Tom Latham and Michael Bracewell performed exceptionally for New Zealand. The captain scored an unbeaten 37 runs. Likewise, Michael Bracewell scored an unbeaten 24 runs.
During this innings, Bracewell reached a personal milestone by passing 1000 career runs in ODI cricket. The pair shared an unbroken 45-run partnership for the sixth wicket to secure the win. Their professional approach allowed New Zealand to level the series after losing the first match by seven wickets.
