The Sad Accident Incident
The car accident involving Liverpool fans is tragic. A 53-year-old British man plowed his vehicle into the crowd of celebrating fans.

The car was a Ford Galaxy, which was tailgating an ambulance on Water Street. The car was heard beeping at Dale Street outside William Hill bookmaker before reversing and hitting the fans.
The car kept moving ahead on Dale Street before being confronted by fans, who struck its windscreen and window.
After closing the engine for some time, the car reverses and bumps people out of its way. By driving over people in the cycle lane outside Hooters, the car returned to the road.
Seeing all of this unfold, the fans and police authority came attacking the car, halting the push of the car. Ultimately, the car rider was caught and put behind bars.
What Did Merseyside Police Say?
As Merseyside police were present at the site of the accident, they seemed horrified. Talking to the media, they explained this incident isn’t terrorism but an act of violence.
They also clarified that there is no involvement of a group but of a single person. Police and legal authorities, however, weren’t sure why the man plowed down the narrow street on Monday.
The medical team also stated that 4 of the injured are kids, and one kid was trapped under the van, which firefighters helped to rescue.
