Twenty-one-year-old Gonzalo Garcia scored an opening goal in the first 10th minutes of the match, followed by Fran Garcia’s 20th-minute goal, giving Madrid’s 2-0 lead at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
Madrid coach, Xabi Alonso over Gonzalo said, “We’ve seen him play in the last few games and today he did it again. He is making the most of this opportunity. I think that he is in the right place, right time, and we’re very happy with the work he’s doing — and he’s also scoring goals. Mbappé came on for Jude Bellingham.”

On the other side, Dortmund’s Maximilian Beier, 22, scored a goal, three minutes into stoppage time, giving the team’s first goal vs Madrid.
Then Kylian Mbappe entered the field, replacing Jude Bellingham, and spectacularly scored 3rd goal, a minute later, Beier’s goal.
Further, Serhou Guirassy scored Dortmund’s 2nd goal in the 8th minute after he was fouled by Dean Huijsen, who received a red card and will miss the semifinals.
Alonso told DAZN, “We were doing really well and the match looked under control, but then in the last 10 minutes things got crazy. We have lost a little bit of our focus and intensity when we didn’t have the ball, and luckily, nothing else happened. But overall, we have had a good 80 minutes, and the last 10 minutes to improve.”
Fran Garcia won the Player of the Match award.
