Yamal (Full name: Lamine Yamal Nasraoui Ebana) began his football career playing at the youth system of La Torreta in 2012. Two years later, when he was only six, he enrolled at Barcelona after the club invited him for training sessions.
The footballer relocated to Barcelona in 2014, playing in every youth system offered by the club. He ultimately made his senior team debut in 2013 on 20 August, in a 2–0 win over Cádiz.
That same year, on 2nd October, Barcelona offered a contract extension that would tie him with the club until 2026, with a buyout clause of €1 billion.
On 27th May 2025, Barcelona and Yamel agreed on a seven-year contract extension that would increase his value to $45.3m per year gross, including salary, bonuses, and contract fees, possibly making him one of Barcelona’s highest-paid footballers.

According to Capology, under a seven-year deal with Barcelona, he will earn Є64,038 weekly, which is Є3,330,000 per annum, in the 2024-2025 season.
As mentioned, he started playing for the senior team in 2023; hence, he has already accumulated career earnings of Є6,660,000.
