As the news of Hamza Dewan coming to Bangladesh came to the media, fans gathered in numbers to welcome their hero. There was a warm reception for the Premier League player, Hamza, as he arrived in the country, on Monday, via Biman Bangladesh Airlines. From banners to festoons and musical instruments, there was celebration all around the airport. Hamza is currently playing for the Sheffield United FC.
The security personnel found it almost impossible to manage the crowd that was building up. Hamza came to the VIP gate, talked to the journalists and returned back as the crowd gathering was massive.

Dignitaries Present for Hamza Dewan Welcome
A Premier League player doesn’t appear in the Bangladesh shores every day. Bangladesh Football Federation welcomed Hamza at the airport with the highest dignitaries.
The seven executive members present in the welcome included Sakhawat Hossain Bhuiya Shaheen, Kamrul Islam Hilton, Golam Gaus, Iqbal Hossain, Satyajit Das Rupu, Imtiaz Hamid Sabuj and Manjurul Karim.
All the dignitaries welcomed Hamza and his father with good wishes, flowers, and also warm applause. The whole Sylhet Sports Community was also present there.
Hamza’s Father’s Views on Son Hamza
Dewan Murshe Chowdhury, the father of Hamza, was excited to see his son being warmly welcomed in his motherland. Dewan addressed the media and showed his joy at the arrival of his son.
Dewan stated that his son is coming to his home country after extraordinary achievements. Dewan also added that Hamza came to Bangladesh of his own free will.
Hamza’s father also added that today is the day of joy that his son has come back to play football for his home nation Bangladesh. Dewan stated that he was more than pleased to see the welcome, even in Sylhet.
What Next For Hamza Dewan Chowdhury?
As Hamza Dewan Chowdhury arrives in Bangladesh, he will spend a day in his village in Sylhet. Following that, the Premier League hero will be joining the national team on 19th March.
After the team meeting, the Bangladesh national team will be leaving for Kolkata on the 20th March.
It will be the first match for Hamza in the Bangladeshi color of red. The AFC Asian Cup Qualifier match against India will take place on 25th March at Shillong. Looking at the team from both sides, expect it to be a good game.
