[REPORT] Match Highlights: India vs Afghanistan CAFA Game

The Group B clash between India and Afghanistan in the ongoing CAFA Nations Cup matches ended in a dramatic way, with both teams putting their 100% effort into winning the game. Played at the Hisor Central Stadium, Tajikistan, both teams had pressure from the beginning of the game, but Afghanistan dominated the ball early.

However, they could not convert that pressurized situation into a goal since India also left no stone unturned, as Ashique Kuruniyan and Mahesh Singh created opportunities to score, yet failed to give India a lead.

The match got exciting as it progressed, especially when the players of both teams got involved in a physical altercation, resulting in receiving yellow cards. Following the end of half-time, Afghanistan tried to push more, particularly in the 71st minute of the game when Yama Sherzad’s shot was tipped by Gurpreet onto the post.
