His first goal for Inter Miami came in the 27th minute, followed by a second goal 11 minutes later, in the 38th minute of the match played at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, on July 9, 2025.

Ever since Lionel Messi joined Inter Miami in 2023, the MLS side has been blooming. The Argentine striker and captain has once again made history, scoring multiple goals in four consecutive league games.
On 9th July, he scored two goals, leading Inter Miami to a 2-1 win over the New England Revolutions at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts.

Messi scored the opening goal in the match in the 27th minute. Just 11 minutes later, he scored another goal, assisted by Sergio Busquets.
On the other side of the team, Carles Gil scored a late goal in the 80th minute, making the final minutes of the match chaotic.
After the match, the Miami coach said, “Obviously, Leo is a special player. For me is the best player that has played this sport in history. So it’s unbelievable because of how he continues doing things that maybe many, many years ago we thought that maybe we couldn’t see at this stage, no? But in the end, he’s a special player. We are lucky to have him.”

Lionel Messi joined MLS side Inter Miami CF on 15th July 2023, agreeing on a 2 and 1/2 year.

His nine goals in his first six matches for Miami led the team to win its first-ever trophy 2023 League Cup.
