Portuguese football manager Nuno Espírito Santo has proven that a winning team starts with a visionary coach. His two influential seasons with Premier League club Nottingham Forest have led the club to its first Conference League qualification in nearly three decades.
It’s no surprise that after such an impressive performance, head coach Nuno Espírito Santo was rewarded with a three-year contract extension by the club on 21st June 2025, as reported by The Guardian.
The coach also made history by winning the Premier League Manager of the Month award three times — in October and December 2024, and March 2025 — a first for Nottingham Forest. Nuno has created milestones for both the club and himself.

Amit Mishra’s Take on Nuno’s Contract Extension
I’m more than thrilled to hear that Nuno is staying with Premier League side Nottingham Forest until 2028. Under his management, Forest has seen great success, winning back-to-back matches and securing a spot in the Conference League.
Honestly, what could be better for a club that hadn’t played in the league for three decades? A huge shoutout to club owner Evangelos Marinakis, who made a brilliant move by bringing Nuno on board.
