[REPORT] João Félix’s Debut for Al-Nassr
Keeping Cristiano Ronaldo’s goals and his performance aside, the game also featured João Félix’s debut in the 2-1 preseason friendly for Al-Nassr. The 25-year-old Portuguese forward used to play for Chelsea, and Al-Nassr reportedly signed him for an initial €30 million (potentially rising to €50 million with bonuses).
Although Félix did not score or assist in the game against Toulouse, he displayed a promising talent that could potentially benefit Al-Nassr in the future.
Starting in Jorge Jesus’ 4-2-3-1 formation, he is positioned behind Cristiano Ronaldo. In the game, he demonstrated his tactical strategy and movement between Toulouse’s defensive lines so he could create a space. However, he was not able to capitalize the early opportunity set up by Mané, but his hunger to score a goal was witnessed by everyone.
Similarly, coach Jorge Jesus also praised Félix’s versatility and his vision in the game, stating that he could be one of the key players for Al-Nassr.
On the other hand, Al-Nassr is preparing for a significant domestic match on August 19, where they will be facing their rivals Al-Ittihad in the Saudi Super Cup.

His hunger and dedication for every match have only added another achievement to his legacy. His goal against Toulouse was not just a goal, but his passion for the game, even in the pre-season friendly. Similarly, João Félix’s debut has given hope for Al-Nassr fans that their team now has a balanced formation that could potentially win the Saudi Super Cup.
As a fan, the upcoming fixtures of Al-Nassr will be interesting to see, especially the clash with Al-Ittihad.
