Cristiano Ronaldo’s Contribution to Al Nassr
The contribution of Cristiano Ronaldo has been a hit-and-miss at Al Nassr. Although he keeps scoring goals, the team hasn’t done anything out of the box.
Before the signing of the new deal, Ronaldo was getting $210 million per year. The cost of the new contract will only be known after he signs it.
However, there are a few reports that suggest he has been offered 5% ownership of the club and further few benefits over 52% pay cut to roughly €96 million annually. He is yet to make a decision.
Ronaldo has scored 25 goals in the season, along with 8 goals in the AFC Champions League. However, with all of this, Al Nassr has only won the Arab Club Champions Cup 2023 as a major achievement.

In the end, it was the penalty shootout that decided the fate in favor of Portugal.Robert Martinez was more than happy that Ronaldo contributed and also clarified that he shut down the questions of whether he still has it or not.
Amit Mishra’s Take
As fate had it, Cristiano Ronaldo will be staying in Saudi and be part of Al Nassr. There were doubts over his availability, but now he has a possible new contract, nothing official, along with a refreshed mindset after the Nations League win; this could be the difference.
But only time will tell whether Cristiano Ronaldo will extend his contract by a long margin or for a short span for now he said it might be a year. With no Club World Cup, the Portugal captain has a good time to think.
