Satwik-Chirag, India’s top men’s doubles pair, is set to make a comeback at the French Open 2025 in Paris this Tuesday after the disappointing loss in the semi-finals in the Denmark Open against Takuro Hoki and Yugo Kobayashi, by 23-21, 18-21, 21-16, within just 68 minutes of the match. Their return to the tournament is observed by most of the Indian fans across the world as the World No. 6 duo has been in excellent form for the past few months, reaching the finals of the Hong Kong Open and China Masters, and the semi-finals of the Denmark Open.
Satwik-Chirag are characterized by their aggressive approach, reflexes, and great coordination skills on the court. As a badminton enthusiast, the much-anticipated return of Satwik-Chirag to the French Open 2025 has certainly raised my expectations, as the duo has consistently performed well when needed, despite not winning multiple titles in previous tournaments. Following the semi-finals loss at the Denmark Open 2025, the duo is believed to avenge the loss and win the tournament on a high note.
On the other hand, Pruthvi Krishnamurthy Roy – Sai Pratheek K will also be featured in the tournament, who will play a huge role in making the country proud with each win. I am excited for the match day just to witness how the wounded lions, Satwik-Chirag, will play in the opening round.
