Jake Paul silenced doubters with a commanding win over Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., proving he’s more than just a YouTuber in the ring. According to ESPN, Paul defeated former middleweight champion Julio by unanimous decision on Saturday at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California.
The American boxer has a straight six-win streak since losing to Tommy Fury in February 2023. Now, Paul (12-1, 7 KOs) could enter the WBC rankings at 200 pounds, a step closer to fighting for a world title.

On 28th June, Paul viciously defeated Julio César Chávez Jr. (54-7-1, 34 KOs) in a 10-round cruiserweight bout in Anaheim, CA via unanimous decision.

With the victory, the American boxer could finally break into the WBC rankings at 200 pounds and move one step closer to fighting for a world title.
In an interview with ESPN, WBC president Mauricio Sulaiman said, “The WBC ratings committee has been following Jake Paul’s career. If he defeats Chavez, and depending on how the fight plays out, the committee will make the decision. It’s very likely [Paul will be ranked] if he wins convincingly.”
