First Stand in League of Legends: Here’s What’s New in Drops, Merch, and Esports HUD

Riots Games introduced a new international League of Legends tournament called the First Stand. The event will take place from March 10th to 16th, 2025, at LoL Park in Seoul, South Korea. The event will feature top teams from 5 major regions competing in a unique Fearless Draft Format. Fans can enjoy the exclusive in-games and physical rewards. Alongwith the tournament, Riot Games is updating and releasing a special First Stand merchandise collection.

How to Earn First Stand Drops in League of Legends

You can earn special-in-game rewards by watching First Stand matches on the official League of Legends esports website, logged in with your Riot id. Riot Games will provide these drops based on your in-game events.

• If a player gets a pentakill or steals baron, you will receive a 2025 esports capsule.
• If knockout games reach five games, you will get another esports capsule.
• If you watch the Grand Finals live on March 16, you will unlock the First Stand brand emote.

First Stand 2025 Merch Collection: What’s Available?

Riots games has launched the First Stand 2025 merchandise collection featuring high-quality apparel inspired tournament brandings. The collection includes:

• T-shirt
• Jersey
• Jumper
• Varsity Jacket (limited edition with unique numbers)

Fans can buy merchandise in person, at LoL Park in Seoul, during the event. Additionally, a limited stock will also be available online from March 4. The Varsity Jacket is the rarest item because each product has a unique number, making it a must have for collectors.

League of Legends’ New Esports HUD: A Game-Changer

Riot Games is releasing a new esports HUD, at the First Stand Tournament, to improve viewing experience. The updated interface includes:

• A vertical scoreboard for better clarity.
• Rotating widgets, which display the real time game stats.
• A dynamic HUD that changes throughout the match to make information clear and engaging.

First Stand Tournament: Event Schedule and Key Details

The First Stand Tournament will be the season opening tournament for the League of Legends esports, in 2025. The event features five regional teams competing for a seven days showdown, in a Fearless Draft Format, where teams cannot pick champions they previously used that feature in the series.
