Aurora Gaming is creating a buzz in the global esports scene, with their first major win at the Masters Bucharest 2025 champions. They defeated ‘Legacy,’ the winners of the CS Asia Championship 2025.
Aurora and Legacy had a neck-and-neck battle in the intense best-of-five grand final, with the first one edging out a 3-2 win.

Aurora Gaming, the Turkish team led by star player XANTARES, faced top groups like Fnatic and Team Liquid in early rounds. They showcased strong macroscopic team-play despite some close games that went into overtime.
Although mid-tournament, they had a shaky patch with losses to HEROIC and SAW, including a heavy 4-13 loss to HEROIC on Mirage Aurora gaming bounced back. They won over Astralis in their advancement match, and entered the playoffs to compete for their dream title, Masters Bucharest 2025 champions.
Then, the team beat GamerLegion, winning two maps with commanding 13-1 scores, opening a gate to the much-awaited grand final. They had an epic battle with Legacy in the final, a five-map thriller with scores:

This win is Aurora’s first major CS2 trophy. Along with the Masters Bucharest 2025 Champions title, Aurora’s XANTARES was named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the tournament. He was the standout player with a K-D of 103-83, Average Damage per Round (ADR) of 90.5, and an overall rating of 1.36 in the final series.
Aurora bagged a $200,000 prize money for the players and organization, while Legacy finished second, taking home $93,750.
