Team Vitality has done it again—this time conquering IEM Dallas 2025 with a clean and commanding performance.
The European CS2 giants won the IEM trophy for the third consecutive year at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in Texas after defeating MOUZ 3-0 in the grand final.
With this win, they not only cemented their status at the top of the Counter-Strike 2 scene but also sent a clear message: they’re the team to beat in 2025.
A Revenge Story Turned Into a Championship Run
Last year, Vitality walked away from IEM Dallas as runner-ups, but this year, they returned with a mission—and they delivered.
Even though they had little time to prepare after defeating BLAST Rivals earlier in the month, their campaign at IEM Dallas 2025 got off to a solid start.
As they overcame Legacy and GamerLegion to guarantee a playoff position, the team displayed few signs of rust.

They advanced to the semifinals by defeating MongolZ in the following round, which set up a suspenseful battle with Team Falcons. Vitality won in the decider to secure their place in the grand final, despite the Falcons managing to grab a map.
Vitality faced a well-known opponent in MOUZ in the finals.
Many fans had been anticipating this matchup, and Vitality delivered.
The squad began with Dust II winning 13-11 after rallying from an 8-11 disadvantage.
From there, they controlled the rest of the series with a 13-9 victory on Mirage and closed it out 13-8 on Inferno.
Not only did they dominate, but they did it with style—and a little bit of revenge at IEM Dallas 2025.
ZywOo Shines Again and Prize Pool Glory
Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut is one name that frequently appears in Vitality’s success story. The French superstar added his 26th personal MVP trophy to his collection after he won the MVP award at IEM Dallas 2025 once more.
Fans and experts alike concur that ZywOo is currently in a class of his own thanks to his precise aim and steady influence throughout the competition.
Alongside the trophy Team Vitality walked away with $125,000 from the tournament’s $300,000 prize pool. But for them, it’s clearly about building a legacy and not just the money.
With their third IEM title in a row and another win at IEM Dallas 2025, Vitality is making a strong case as the best team in CS2 right now.
What’s Next for the French Powerhouse?
With this latest win, Team Vitality sits comfortably atop the VRS standings, having already led the rankings since early May. Their IEM Dallas 2025 triumph, combined with their recent BLAST Rivals victory, makes them the most dominant team in this phase of the 2025 season.
However, the grind doesn’t stop here, though.
The team is now preparing for the BLAST Austin Major, which kicks off on June 3, 2025, followed by the prestigious IEM Cologne in July.
If their current momentum continues, Vitality could be on track for one of the most successful years in their history.
Team President Fabien Devide summed it up best after the win:
“Team Vitality continues to showcase the strength and excellence of French esports on the global stage, and we have no intention of slowing down anytime soon.”
And with the way they’re playing at IEM Dallas 2025, there’s no reason to think they will.
