How beautiful is the story of Ankit Joglan, who was promoted to captain Patna Pirates after being the vice captain. Even though Ankit was made captain in the middle of the season, his performance just got better.
With 79 tackle points and the second-best defender after Dahiya, Joglan left a lasting impact. Under the leadership of Ankit Joglan, Patna Pirates made it into their 5th final only to lose to Haryana. However, Joglan’s leadership was highly praised by the fans.
Ashu Malik and Naveen Kumar (Dabang Delhi K.C.)
In the history of PKL, it was rare that a team appointed co-captains. Ashu Malik and Naveen Kumar decided on Dabang Delhi KC with both hands. The strategies of both the captains were a standout.
In PKL11, Delhi went on to win 13 matches, tie 4 matches, and lose 5 games. Interestingly, Delhi directly qualified for the semifinals after finishing 2nd in the group stage.

Not only as best captains of PKL 11 but Sumit Kumar is one of the best captains of all time when we talk about Pro Kabaddi. It was in the 11th season that Sumit Kumar became the most successful skipper ever.
He went on to break the record for most wins as captain with 73 wins. The talented defender broke Fazel Atrachali’s record. By the end of season 11, Sumit had 77 wins to his name.
It is a record in itself for its sheer value. Not only the wins, but Sumit took the record of being the first skipper to lead a team in 100 games. Sumit Kumar led successfull,y taking U-Mumba to the playoffs.
Sumit Kumdar had 54 tackle points from 23 matches to go with all the leadership stats. He took Jaipur Pink Panthers to the title win in the past season. Sadly, he couldn’t do the same this season.
