Pat Brown Predicts Jake Paul’s Fight with Anthony Joshua Could Shock Boxing World

Jake Paul vs Anthony Joshua could shake the boxing world and rewrite history with one of the sport’s most shocking upsets, predicts Pat Brown. Brown mentioned Joshua’s weaknesses, especially his recent knockout loss, and highlighted Paul’s aggressive style as a potential game-changer.

Everyone is excited to see if the crossover star can beat the established heavyweight champion.

[TRENDING] Pat Brown POV

Cruiserweight English boxer Pat Brown, 25, identifies Joshua’s “Weak Chin” as his major weakness ahead of the fight with Jake Paul, referencing Joshua’s devastating knockout loss to Daniel Dubois in 2024, according to Boxing News 24.

With Jake Paul’s aggressive, hard-hitting style, one lucky punch could change everything and turn the fight on its head.

Brown also points out Joshua’s age-related decline in durability and speed at 35 years old and notes that Joshua’s recent losses suggest a compromised ability to withstand pressure and punishment.

Besides Joshua’s physical vulnerabilities, Brown claims Joshua seems more focused on earning a big payday before retiring, which makes the money from fighting Paul very appealing despite the risks.

If Paul lands a powerful punch, Brown says this fight could become the biggest upset in boxing history.

Reflecting on Jake Paul wanting to fight Anthony Joshua, Brown said, “Boxing is a business. If it makes money, it makes sense. But then you say, ‘What about the health side? Jake Paul could be in danger.’ But then, he’s been calling these names out. Life’s hard. If you bite off more than you can chew, it’s your own fault, isn’t it.”

He further added, “He [Paul] obviously needs to get humbled to stop him from doing this. But then it could work in his favor, and he upsets everyone, and all of a sudden, it’s the biggest upset in boxing. So, who knows. AJ is on his way out. He’ll be looking for a massive payday.”

[REPORT] Predictions and Possible Outcomes

Not only for the entertainment value, but the highly anticipated Jake Paul vs. Anthony Joshua is making waves in the boxing world for the dramatic clash between an established heavyweight champion and a crossover boxing star.

The event is likely to take place in early 2026 and centers on a high-stakes, potentially shocking boxing event with commercial and sporting significance.

It could go either way:

  • Joshua might use his experience to beat Paul
  • Paul could cause a big upset with his power and aggressive style, taking advantage of Joshua’s weaknesses.

The fight is currently in advanced talks, with Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn calling Jake Paul the “massive frontrunner” and “front-runner” to face Joshua next.

Both sides take the possibility seriously, moving beyond viewing it as a publicity stunt.

Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn told BBC Sport, “At first I thought it was a publicity stunt from Jake and now the more I speak to them, the more I actually understand – Jake Paul thinks he can beat Anthony Joshua. This is a step too far. So be careful what you wish for, because this isn’t a game. This isn’t YouTube. This isn’t Disney. This is the danger zone.”

Jake Paul vs. Anthony Joshua is closer than ever! Talks are moving forward for a 2026 fight, and Wembley Stadium is on the table as a possible venue.

It will indeed be a memorable event in modern boxing, showcasing traditional talent with fresh energy and unexpected twists.

Pankaj Kapoor’s Take

In my opinion, at the end of the day, it’s a fight, nothing is certain, and anyone can win with one lucky, defining punch. But if I had to choose between the two fighters, Jake Paul definitely has the upper hand since Anthony Joshua has a low punch absorption ability. So, yes, Paul has a good chance at winning.
