Kim Kianna Dy is making moves on and off the court. The former DLSU Lady Spiker and current professional PLDT High Speed Hitters, Dy, has allegedly opened a dance school on TikTok that welcomes everyone, professional and unprofessional.
She recently went viral on TikTok for ‘Kianna Dy School of Dancing’, where she humorously posts dance moves, calling out her followers as students.

Kim Kianna, the 29-year-old volleyball sensation, has emerged as a household name in the Philippines, with her incredible sporting resume, including the multi-titled run with La Salle in the UAAP. However, Kianna has recently been recognized as a social media personality with her grooving dance moves, especially on TikTok.
Her hilarious dance moves have garnered her 1.4 million followers and 60.6 million likes on TikTok, among which the dance move on Kendrick Lamar and Sza’s ‘Luther’ has already gained 4.6 million views in total.
After going viral on TikTok for her stiff, off-beat, and comedic dance moves, Kianna Dy has continued to gain attention through the “Kianna Dy School of Dancing.” What started as a meme has evolved into a popular and engaging trend embraced by her growing online community.
Despite all the jokes in her TikTok video comments, she leaned into the meme and started the trend of teaching other users how to groove in viral dance trends. From content creators to regular students, several users have submitted applications to the school.

It is believed that the rise of Kianna Dy School of Dancing started when her alleged first student, her sister Kaila, and she grooved to the beat of BAAM by MOMOLAND. Ever since that video, her enrollment grew, and been teaching the viral dance moves for popular songs such as “Everyday” by Ariana Grande, “LIKE” by JENNIE, and “Shake It to the Max” by MOLIY & Skillibeng & Shenseea.

It was her fans who started the memes leading to the start of the School of Dancing, since her dance moves used to be hilarious and engaging. Fans are loving the School of Dancing, and the local and international students are submitting dance videos as admission requirements in her school.
However, there are some requirements that need to be followed to get enrolled. They are: groove, feelings, rhythm, and most importantly, confidence. Kianna Dy School of Dancing Class of 2025 is receiving hundreds of applications – from casual TikTok users to content creators, including even her teammates and other volleyball players.
She has now even hired a co-teacher, Majoy Baron, who was a teammate during her career in PLDT.
