It was evident that Tania was destined right during her time at Louisiana State University. Right after she graduated from LSU, Schatow went on to play professional volleyball in Europe for the best part of 6 years.
Starting her career as a middle hitter on Oostende Volley in Belgium, she was part of the team for 4 years starting in 2013. One year into her professional career, Tania was named the best blocker in the league.
Along the way, Schatow played for Albi Volley in France for a year and De Haan Volley in Belgium for a year as well. As her professional career came to a close, she started coaching U16 girls’ and boys’ teams in Belgium. Her first coaching stint.

The achievements of Tania have been more than enough to push for the head coach position. She is a 2011 graduate of Louisiana State University. The diva attended a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology.
During her playing years, Schatow was a middle-blocker. The head coach also made 4 NCAA tournament appearances and won two SEC Academic Honor Roll recognitions.
What’s more important to notice is the fact that Schatow won the SEC Championship in 2009, enough to prove her worth. It won’t be a mistake to say that Fagg has done his research and chosen Tania for the position.
