The Indian deaf cricket community has been doing a wonderful job recently. The most recent update suggests the Indian deaf cricket team defeated Trinidad and Tobago in a cricket series in May. It was a historic 5 match series, which India won quite easily.

Indian Deaf Cricket Team Defeats Trinidad and Tobago
The Indian Deaf Cricket Association (IDCA) played the 5-match series, which started from 23rd May and went until 29th May.
It was an international tour for the Indian deaf cricket team, as the matches were played at the iconic venues around Trinidad and Tobago. This was the first time that the Caribbean nation hosted such series.
Interestingly, India did amazingly, even in this series. They went on to win the series 3-2 with key performances from their star players, displaying tactical brilliance and great team spirit.

Results Of The Series
There were two ODI matches along with three T20 games in the series. India won the second ODI game after losing the first one.
However, when it came to the T20 series, it was all in favor of India. The Indian deaf cricket team defeated Trinidad and Tobago in all three T20 matches, with great brilliance.
In the victorious second ODI match, it was the all-rounder Pradeep that stood out as the best player. He scored 84 runs, and also took 4 wickets in the innings.
India won the game by 132 runs and consolidated their win at the National Cricket Center. The joint team effort led India to take the series 4-1 against Trinidad and Tobago.

As the historic series came to an end, the IDCA President Sumit Jain was full of praise for the series and the players. This particular tour was held under the theme of “Historic Boundaries, New Beginnings.”

Sumit Jain also states that this is a historic and emotional milestone for India. He thanked the Trinidad and Tobago Deaf Cricket Association for their warm hospitality.
Jain also took time to thank the Indian team for their sporting spirit, and for raising the bar higher. IDCA CEO Roma Balwani seemed ecstatic and stated that it is a victory of inclusion, equality, and the global deaf community.
