Cricket West Indies has announced a full home schedule for the 2026 season, featuring series against Sri Lanka, New Zealand, and Pakistan. The announcement covers matches across all three formats and runs from June through August.
The home season carries the promotional tag “WI OUTSIDE!” — a campaign aimed at bringing fans back into the stands across the Caribbean. CWI chief executive Chris Dehring described it as a celebration of West Indies cricket culture and an invitation to supporters to create the atmosphere the region is known for.
West Indies Eye WTC Points in Four-Test Home Run
West Indies currently sit ninth in the ICC World Test Championship 2025-27 standings, last place, after losing seven of eight matches in the current cycle. The home season offers a genuine chance to change that.
Sri Lanka arrive first for two Tests, both at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in North Sound, Antigua and Barbuda.

Sri Lanka White-Ball Series Opens the Home Season
Sri Lanka are the first touring side to arrive, kicking off proceedings with a six-match white-ball series at Sabina Park in Kingston, Jamaica. The schedule is compact with little rest between formats, shifting from 50-over to 20-over cricket within the same venue across the same fortnight.

New Zealand ODI Series Shared Between Guyana and Barbados
New Zealand’s tour consists entirely of five ODIs between July 11 and 21. The series was originally planned for Guyana alone, but logistical challenges forced a change. CWI confirmed that the governments of Guyana and Barbados jointly proposed splitting the hosting arrangement, with New Zealand Cricket approving the revision.
| New Zealand ODI Series Schedule | ||
| Fixtures | Date | Location |
| 1st ODI | July 11 | Guyana National Stadium, Guyana |
| 2nd ODI | July 13 | Guyana National Stadium, Guyana |
| 3rd ODI | July 16 | Guyana National Stadium, Guyana |
| 4th ODI | July 19 | Kensington Oval, Barbados |
| 5th ODI | July 21 | Kensington Oval, Barbados |
Dehring stated the arrangement reflected CWI’s commitment to delivering quality cricket across the Caribbean. For the West Indies side, the series also doubles as preparation for the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup the following year.
From June through August, West Indies will play four Tests, six white-ball matches against Sri Lanka, and five ODIs against New Zealand — making it one of the most loaded home seasons the team has faced in recent years.
