Why Yuvraj Doesn’t Want His Son To Play Cricket?
In a recent interview, Yuvraj opened up and talked about his kids and his personal life. Addressing the media, Yuvraj stated that he doesn’t want his son Orion to be part of cricket.
The primary reason is that kids tend to be compared to their father, who played the game. This does put unnecessary pressure on the kids, which isn’t the right thing.
Talking to the CurlyTales, Yuvraj clarified that his son, Orion, is interested in cricket, but he feels that it isn’t the right way to go.
“Cricket ka bahut shauk padh gaya hai usey (Orion) since he has seen me playing. Every time I see him, he is like, ‘Dad, I want to play cricket with you,’ and I am like, ‘No, I don’t want you to play cricket.’ I am not saying this to him but more to me inside.”
Singh also added that he would support Orion in everything he wanted to do but also felt that cricket might not be the right choice.
“I don’t want him to play cricket for sure. If he wants to play, I will support him.”

Yuvraj Singh was one of the greatest cricketers of all time for the Indian cricket team. During his prime playing days, India won the 2007 T20 World Cup and the 2011 ODI World Cup.
