For a country that has never hosted any Asian Boxing Championship, this is a big deal for Sri Lanka.

U22 Boxing Tournament Eligibility Criteria for Boxers
The championships will feature two major age categories:
- U22 Category: Boxers born in 2003, 2004, 2005, and 2006.
- In the Youth Category: Competitors who were born in 2007 and 2008.
This amazing group of young athletes bring fresh talents, giving them the wonderful opportunity to show their skills on a grand, international stage.
The Road to ASBC Asian Championships 2025
The Sri Lankan boxing world is changing fast, and it’s all because of the effort and hard work of the Sri Lankan Boxing Federation and its passionate head, Anuruddha Shanaka Bandara.
Teams from boxing powerhouses like Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and India are getting ready to join.
And it’s going to be FUN! These countries have been the kings of the ring for a long time, but now Sri Lanka is coming up with big dreams.
Furthermore, the Asian Boxing Confederation (ASBC) will share a special handbook for the team that has all the important details. The people in charge are working diligently, making sure that the tournament goes perfectly.
