Sports in India are getting better and better every day. A recent example is the inclusion of beach Kabaddi and water sports in the Manginapudi beach fest.
The Manginapudi Beach Fest is set to shine with the thrilling addition of beach Kabaddi and water sports, making this year’s event even more exciting. When Will Manginapudi Beach Fest Take Place?
The Manginapudi Beach Festival, also known as the Masula Beach Festival, will take place for four days on May 15, 2025. The event will feature a mix of sports, cultural activities, music nights, adventure sports, handicraft exhibitions, water sports, and beach kabaddi.
It is organized by the Krishna district administration and the tourism department, aiming to promote Manginapudi Beach as a popular tourist spot near Amravati and Hyderabad.

Animini Ravinaidu’s Views About The Event
The chairman of the Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh, Animini Ravinaidu, has been more than keen to make this event a success. On Tuesday, he talked to district sports development officers and focused on better managing events like Kabaddi, Canoeing, and Kayaking.
He asked officials to make sure the sports events are well-organized and similar to international competitions. Ravinaidu also urged teamwork between District Sports Development Officers and sports associations to build SAAP’s reputation.
He stressed the need for proper beach areas, sports equipment, coaches, referees, volunteers, and enough transport, police, fire, and medical support for athletes. He also suggested promoting the events through the media and noted that many political leaders and a large crowd are expected to attend.
Players Involved In Kabaddi and Water Events
The Manginapudi Beach Festival will feature 29 men’s and 29 women’s kabaddi teams, along with national athletes competing in boat racing, traditional boat races, and sea kayaking. While the specific names of the kabaddi players at the festival are not provided, the Kabaddi World Cup 2025 includes notable players from India, such as Manthiram Arumugam, Narwal Rakesh, and others. England and Scotland will also have players in the World Cup, but they are not part of the Manginapudi event.
National athletes will compete in water sports, including canoeing, kayaking, boat racing, and sea kayaking, though individual names are not disclosed.
Preparations for Manginapudi Beach Fest
The chairman, Ravi Naidu, has ordered the immediate identification of beach areas suitable for sports courts and also the preparation of the sports equipment, technical teams, coaches, referees, and volunteers.
Along with the technical aspects, Naidu also had a keen eye for logistics. From transport, policing, fire services, medical camps, and supervision experts, everybody was kept on standby and ready to go.
To make a name for themselves and stand out from the rest, the Chairman wants the festival to be organized efficiently so that it resembles more of the international competitions.
Not only the preparations, but some of the biggest dignitaries will be involved in the event. From the Chief Minister to the Deputy Chief Minister, Ministers, and high-profile MLAs, plenty of big faces will be part of the fest.
Fans will also have special seating arrangements to make the viewing experience brilliant. Lastly, the esteemed chairman has ordered everyone to advertise the event in all digital, social, print, and electronic media.
