Patna Pirates’ Squad Revamp
Patna Pirates, champions of the PKL three times, have revised their team for Season 12 of PKL 2025. They are emphasizing young players and looking to enhance their defense and raiding skills.
As such, they have sought again to continue further with developing and nurturing their players, including skills in crucial gameplay.
After finishing as runners-up in the PKL 11, the Pirates are determined to reclaim their fourth title under coach Narender Redhu.

Lathwal & Narwal Strengthen Defense
As part of their PKL 2025 squad revamp, Patna Pirates have boosted their defense with the signings of Prianshu Lathwal and Saurabh Narwal.
Who are the new defenders?
- Prianshu Lathwal (Left Corner)– Lathwal is another promising young defender who has emerged from different sub-junior and junior tournaments. He won a gold at the Khelo India Youth Games, and a bronze at the Junior Nationals. With his inclusion, the left corner position gets strengthened, which might support the defenders to improve their overall team performance.
- Saurabh Narwal (Left Cover)–Saurabh Narwal is a very good left cover defender who makes the Pirates defense look solid in this season of the PKL. His role is expected to improve collaboration with the other defenders, tackling earlier weaknesses in their defensive strategy.
Patna Pirates’ Title Aspirations
After finishing second in the PKL 11, Patna Pirates are determined to regain their top position in the PKL 12. They have also renewed their PKL 2025 squad in order to claim the title for the fourth time.
They have improved their team by bringing in Prianshu Lathwal and Saurabh Narwal to enhance their defense, as well as Milan Dahiya and Ankit Rana for their raiding team.
