Players From Badminton Europe’s High Performance Center
For a very long time, Badminton Europe’s High Performance Center has been producing brilliant players. Even at the 2025 European Championships, they will have players coming from this institution.
Markus Barth from Norway will represent the center, and play against Aria Dinata from Croatia on Tuesday. Kim Schmidt from Luxembourg will go up against Leonice Huet from France.
The brother duo of Iljo and Yaro Van Delsen from Belgium will fight it out against Rusev and Iliyan Stoynov from Bulgaria. Lastly, fans could enjoy Milan Dratva from Slovakia plying his trade against Dimitar Yanakiev from Bulgaria.

Injuries Before The Tournament
The 2025 edition of the European Championship might just be on the way, but the injuries to the players has already been a concern.
7 time champion Carolina Marin, who is suffering from a knee injury, is still in rehab and won’t be taking part in the competition.
Added to that, Viktor Axelsen also went through surgery on his back. His surgery took place 1 week prior to the tournament, and his participation won’t be available.
Furthermore, the biggest upset will be Mia Blichfeldt not taking part in the championship. Right before the tournament was about to start, she withdrew from the tournament due to a shoulder injury. Her injury is serious and will keep her out for a couple of months.
