On April 27th, Team Liquid won the PGL Wallachia Season 4 championship after a thrilling 3-2 victory over PARIVISION in the grand finals. The event was held in Bucharest, Romania, with a $1 million prize pool.
As the grand winners, Liquid took home $300,000 (£232,000) in prize money and secured their second consecutive PGL Wallachia title.
This victory also adds another major championship to their collection as the reigning The International (TI) champions in 2025. Their consistent performance and skill continue to keep them at the top of the Dota 2 scene.
Team Liquid’s Road to the Grand Finals at PGL Wallachia 2025
The tournament kicked off on April 19th with a Swiss-format group stage, where sixteen top teams competed in best-of-three for a chance to make it to the playoffs.
Team Liquid had strong performances against Nigma Galaxy, Xtreme Gaming, and Team Tidebound, even though they had a small setback against Team Falcons.
In the playoffs, Liquid defeated Tundra Esports and Team Spirit to reach the upper bracket final. There, they faced PARIVISION for the first time in the tournament but lost 1-2 in a close series.
Liquid then dropped to the lower bracket, where they met Tundra once more. This time, they showed no mercy and won, earning their place in the grand finals.

PGL Wallachia Season 4 Grand Final Recap: Team Liquid vs PARIVISION
The grand final between Team Liquid and PARIVISION was one of the most exciting series of the year, with best of five format.
Each team had something to prove. PARIVISION and Liquid clashed earlier in the upper bracket finals as well as in past tournaments, while Liquid was hungry for redemption and it was showtime.
Game 1:
Team Liquid came out strong. Micke “miCKe” Vu led the way with a powerful Nature’s Prophet performance, helping Liquid win the game in just over 37:01 minutes with 31-26 kill leads.
Game 2:
Liquid kept the pressure on. MiCKe switched to Gyrocopter and played a key role with 10 kills and 15 assists on five deaths giving Liquid a 2-0 lead.
Game 3:
PARIVISION fought back hard in game three with a 33-14 kill lead. Alan “Satanic” Gallyamov had an impressive 16-kill game on Templar Assassin. PARIVISION won the game in 35 minutes with a roaring comeback.
Game 4:
PARIVISION carried the momentum into the next game as well with Satanic and Volodymyr “No[o]ne” Minenko led the way with 10 kills each and a combined 24 assists dominating Liquid with a 29-9 kill lead, forcing a Game 5.
Game 5:
The final game was a real nail-biter, lasting over 72:30 minutes. Michał “Nisha” Jankowski’s Timbersaw played a crucial role, scoring 22 kills with just two deaths. In the end, Liquid held on and won the series 3-2 after a hard-fought battle.
Team Liquid Reflects on Victory as Rivalry With PARIVISION Heats Up Ahead of BLAST Slam III
Following their dramatic win at PGL Wallachia Season 4, Team Liquid’s players and coach shared their reactions during the post-match livestream. Team captain Aydin “Insania” Sarkohi expressed how thrilling the series was, both to play and to watch.
“I feel like finally we had a good series with PARAVISION, it was very exciting,” Insania said.
“You know, first two games I think we kind of got them, next two games they kind of got us. And then game five I think everybody got what they wanted: the viewers, us, them, I think nobody’s sad after this game.”
Coach Mathis “Jabbz” Friesel echoed that sentiment, applauding both teams for delivering such a competitive and enjoyable match.
“I think they’re [PARAVISION] very good. I really respect their play, and I think this series was probably one of the nicest series I think I have ever coached in my career, so it was really fun to actually win it.”
Looking forward, Team Liquid enters the next stage of the competitive season with serious momentum.
With back-to-back PGL Wallachia titles and consistent top-tier form, they’re strong contenders heading into upcoming Majors and The International 2025.
PARIVISION‘s loss in the grand final doesn’t take away from their great year. They’ve had four Top 3 finishes in major events, including winning the ESL One Raleigh 2025 title.
They have firmly established themselves as one of the best teams of 2025.
