Anirudh clarified that losing to Bengaluru FC was the moment when the whole team said this won’t happen again. The Bengaluru game was the determining factor for MBSG, and the whole season.
Talking about the team mentality, Anirudh stated that they wanted to win the Shield first and later think about winning the Cup. Thankfully, both happened, and happened for good.

I feel they would have won the Durand Cup as well, but luck had other plans. Anirudh Thapa, being an experienced midfielder, did his job wonderfully.
