Nepal women have been stronger and have won some matches against the other in the past as well, but it will be hard to count out Bangladesh in Kabaddi.Β
βNepal are a much better side. We had lost against them in 2019 and 2023 too. So we believe this victory is a big thing for us,β said Srabani, the player of the match.Β

It is a 5-match series that will be played at Satdobato Taekwondo Hall in Lalitpur, Nepal, with a good number of fans expected to cover the game. There have been 3 games already played, and 2 matches remain.
The women in red and green were unable to contain Nepal, who have been practising in India, however in the third set, they clinched quite the victory in the second half of the game.Β
“Nepal have been training in India and they are now a better side than Bangladeshβ¦ but I think the current Bangladesh team are also good compared to the previous ones,β said Arduzzaman Munshi at a BOA press conference.Β

Results of 3 Matches at Kabaddi Test Series
A total of 3 matches have been played between the sides, and Nepal is leading the race.
The score at the moment is 2-1, and Bangladesh would love to win the next match in order to stay alive in the competition. Similarly, Nepal would need another win to seal the series.
The first match of the series was won by Nepal with a score of 41-18. It was a dominant performance by the mountain nation, as Bangladesh hardly had a say.
The second match also turned out to be a similar affair, with Nepal winning 29-22. Bangladesh Women’s Kabaddi team seemed to have improved in the 2nd match as the margin of loss was only 7 points.
It was in the 3rd match of the series that Bangladesh bounced back. They won the game by the score of 26-23 and stayed alive in the series by a whisker. A close contest, to say the least.Β

The last match of the series will take place on 25th April at the very same venue. In a matter of 2 days, the ultimate winner will be decided.
