Rajasthan Girls Beat Haryana

As the 34th Sub-Junior Kabaddi Championship unfolded, Rajasthan’s girls knew exactly what they were fighting for, and they delivered. In a thrilling final, the Rajasthan girls beat Haryana to claim the gold medal.

The match was intense, with momentum shifting back and forth and emotions running high. But in the end, Rajasthan’s sub-junior girls held their nerve, securing a hard-fought victory and bringing the title home. Let’s dive into the details of this remarkable win.

The Anticipated Finals

When the news of Haryana girls taking on Rajasthan broke, everybody thought Haryana would be stronger, but Rajasthan proved them wrong.

In the finals that were hosted at Gaya, Bihar, the Rajasthan girls knew what they were expected to do. As the match neared its end, Rajasthan played with great teamwork and strong defense. Captain Nikita led the way, while Lakshita and Ritika’s quick moves helped turn the game in their favor. In the final moments, Rajasthan’s solid defense stopped Haryana from making a comeback, securing a close 39-37 victory.

This historic win gave Rajasthan the gold medal and proved them to be a strong team in sub-junior kabaddi. Coach Sujan Choudhary and manager Rakhi Tanwar were praised for their guidance, and Rajasthan Kabaddi Association president Tejaswi Singh Gehlot called the team an inspiration for young athletes across the country.

The Inform Team Rajasthan

Some fans might think the Rajasthan girls’ win over Haryana was a fluke, but you are mistaken. Rajasthan has been an in-form team, performing well right through the group stage and knockout matches.

Their campaign started with a brilliant win over Manipur. The total dominance was 40-5, which is hard to overcome for many teams.

Moving ahead in their 2nd match, Rajasthan went on to win against Maharashtra by a margin of 63-41. Although the score looks closer compared to the Manipur game, the plot was lost way early.

The rollercoaster ride just got better. Rajasthan defeated SAI by a margin of 52-53. This was one of the closest games Rajasthan won.

But this did fuel the Rajasthan junior girls to make an impact. Quarterfinals took place against Chattisgarh, which the Rajasthan girls won by 61-27 scores and entered the semifinals.

As the expectations were higher for Rajasthan, they battled against Tamil Nadu, and the domination just continued. Winning the game by 40-34 meant they were high on confidence for the final games.

Fans might see the players performing the skin out, but coach Sujan Choudhary and Rakhi Tanwar’s backroom staff played a pivotal role in winning the junior girls’ Kabaddi title.

Who Makes It Into The Rajasthan Sub Junior Girls Kabaddi Team?

Out of all of the talented girls who wanted to make an impact in the junior Kabaddi, only 12 selected girls represented the state.

All in all, they were champions. The team included the likes of

  • Nikita
  • Lakshita
  • Ritika
  • Jyoti
  • Palak
  • Akshita
  • Riya
  • Meenakshi
  • Monika
  • Priyanka
  • Disha
  • Ravina

Following her win of the ultimate title, Disha Kanwar took to social media and shared her happiness at winning the title. She also posted an image of Haryana and showed respect towards the runners-up.

Views of Rajasthan Kabaddi Association President

As the junior girls from Rajasthan wrote history, the president of the Kabaddi Association for Rajasthan congratulated the whole team.

In the media meetup, she said that the achievement of this junior team has not only made the state proud but also motivated other girls to take up the sport. Tejaswi Singh Gehlot, the president, said the passion for Kabaddi is only rising.

The president further added that the win also highlights the fact that the young girls from Rajasthan are ready to take up any challenge and make the right impact. Their skills and hard work need to be appreciated.
