Carlos Alcaraz Dominates Ethan Quinn
The world number 2, Carlos Alcaraz, had his work cut out when he faced Ethan Quinn. Even though Alcaraz is ranked number 2 in the world, the win against Quinn wasn’t that easy.
Ethan Quinn turned out to be a tough competition as he held off Alcaraz in the second round. Carlos performed his best to win the game against Quinn.
Quinn is ranked 126th in the world rankings, yet he pushed Carlos hard and made him play better. The final score after the win was 6-2, 7-6 (8-6).
Fans might be surprised to know that both players had to take a break on three occasions, and Alcaraz had to score the break-even point so that he could win and advance to the next round.

The Barcelona Open seems to be a tough cookie to crack for Carlos Alcaraz. Winning against Quinn, Alcaraz talked to the media and said that it was tough for him to maintain his level.

Carlos was the winner of the Monte Carlo Masters last week and might be thinking of winning the French Open.
